These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your usage of TrashTab (“the App”).

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple’s App Store Terms and these Terms.

User Content

You retain all rights and responsibilities for the debt records and information you create within the App. You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of the information you enter
  • Maintaining appropriate backups of your data
  • Ensuring your use of the App complies with applicable laws

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App for:

  • Any unlawful or fraudulent purposes
  • Harassment or defamation of others
  • Creating records that violate others’ privacy rights
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
  • Interfering with the normal operation of the App

Data Responsibility

Your Responsibility

  • You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data
  • The App provides export functionality for this purpose
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, loss, or user error

App Functionality

  • The App stores data locally on your device
  • Regular backups are recommended to prevent data loss
  • Export features are provided to facilitate data portability

No Warranty

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You use the App at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
  • Data loss or corruption

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will indicate the date of the last update at the top of this document.

Termination

These Terms are effective until terminated by you or us. Your rights under these Terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of your country or region of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts having appropriate jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
