What is RandomAccount?

RandomAccount is a password generator app that helps you create strong, random passwords for your accounts.

Is RandomAccount free to use?

Yes, the basic version is free. You can create and store up to 5 passwords. A premium subscription is available for unlimited password storage.

Does RandomAccount require an internet connection?

No, RandomAccount works entirely offline. All your passwords are stored locally on your device.

Security Questions

How are passwords generated?

Passwords are generated using iOS’s secure random number generator, combining characters from your selected character sets.

Where are my passwords stored?

All passwords are stored locally on your iOS device using encrypted storage. No data is sent to external servers.

Can I export my passwords?

Currently, passwords are stored only on your device. We recommend using your device’s built-in backup features.

Subscription Questions

What does the premium subscription include?

Premium subscribers can create and store an unlimited number of passwords.

Does the subscription renew automatically?

Yes, the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through your App Store account settings.

What happens if my subscription expires?

You can still view and edit your existing passwords. However, creating new passwords will be limited to the free plan limit (5 passwords).

Can I restore my purchases?

Yes, use the “Restore Purchases” option in the Subscription page to restore your subscription on a new device.

Usage Questions

How do I create a password?

  1. Tap the “+” button on the main screen
  2. Customize the password length and character options
  3. Tap “Save” to store the password with a name

How do I adjust password length?

Use the length slider when creating or editing a password. You can set it between 6 and 32 characters.

How do I copy a password?

Tap and hold on any password in your list, then select “Copy Password” from the context menu.

Can I edit a saved password?

Yes, tap on any password card to open it for editing. Note that editing updates your stored password but does not change the actual account password.

How do I delete a password?

Swipe left on any password in the list and tap “Delete”, or use the context menu.

Troubleshooting

I can’t create new passwords

If you’ve reached the free plan limit of 5 passwords, you’ll need to either delete existing passwords or subscribe to premium for unlimited storage.

My subscription isn’t recognized

Try tapping “Restore Purchases” in the Subscription settings. If the issue persists, ensure you’re signed into the same App Store account used for the original purchase.

The app crashes or passwords are missing

Try force-quitting the app and reopening it. Ensure you have a recent backup of your device through iCloud or iTunes.
