CodeViewer (“the App”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the App handles and how.

Summary

  • The App does not collect, store, or share any personally identifiable information.
  • In‑App Purchases are processed by Apple; the App does not receive your payment details.

Data Collection

  • The App does not implement analytics, advertising SDKs, or third‑party trackers.
  • No personal data is transmitted to external servers by the App.

Files Access

  • When you open a code file (e.g., .js, .ts, .py, .java, .vue, .sql, etc.) from other apps or the Files app, the App saves a copy into its in‑app library so that you can preview it later.
  • These files remain on your device unless you delete them from within the App.

Share Sheet

  • When you share a file from the App, iOS presents the system share sheet. The App does not upload files to any server; sharing is performed by the selected target app or extension.

In‑App Purchases

  • Subscriptions or lifetime purchases are handled by Apple via the App Store.
  • The App does not process or store payment information.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Children’s Privacy

  • The App is not directed to children under 13.
  • The App does not knowingly collect any personal information.

Security

  • Because the App does not collect or transmit personal data, typical server‑side security risks do not apply.
  • Files remain on your device unless you choose to share them through the iOS share sheet.
